Welcome to Mobility X!
A new method of physical therapy that uses motion and cognitive load to retrain neural pathways to improve strength, reflexes, and mental connections.
From wartime TBI rehab to modern balance and neurologic recovery.
Neuroplastic Functional Integration (NFI)™ is a program that teaches a military-developed, neuroplasticity-driven system for improving balance, coordination, movement, and functional recovery.
Originally developed in wartime traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, this clinically practical system has been adapted for modern balance training, neurologic rehabilitation, and older adults with instability and fall risk.

Jeff Frankart founded NFI with a mission shaped by decades of service, sacrifice, clinical experience, and direct work with some of the most complex injuries imaginable. As a retired U.S. Army Physical Therapist, Jeff served for 30 years, including 12 years overseas in combat-related environments. His work focused on traumatic brain injury, burns, polytrauma, and severe combat-related injuries.

During that time, Jeff was tasked with what often felt like an insurmountable challenge: helping injured soldiers recover, rebuild, and return to combat-ready function. In those environments, there was no room for guesswork. Progress had to be intentional, measurable, and grounded in what the body and brain could adapt to under extreme conditions. Many medical advances come out of necessity. NFI was built from that same reality. For more than 10 years, Jeff worked directly with combat-injured troops, studying how to sequence exercises, build safe maximum output, and apply neuroplasticity-based training to support recovery, performance, and resilience. |

“My goal is to stay strong as long as I can and to keep building strength as long as I can... And the program is geared to to helping you with your balance and with your strength training and sort of an overall workout for your body and your mind.”
“[My balance] is better than when I started….that is a big deal getting into our seats so we can do [sidestep] and and weave around the crowds and all of that.”
“Just outstanding!”
“I like the treats I get after a good stretch and workout.”
“It’s challenging, but I’m getting better with my balance. ”
NFI was created to bring that knowledge, structure, and hard-earned experience into your toolbox — so students can learn a system built on service, discipline, recovery, performance, and purpose.
NFI exists to help students build strength, confidence, resilience, and the tools to move forward.
